If I had to imagine the perfect early fall weather for a wedding, Joe and Nicole definitely had it for their Ashland Ohio Wedding. It was a warm sunny day with the perfect cool breeze to compliment their already perfect day! I am so excited to be sharing a glimpse of their wedding from this past Saturday! It seems like a day we all waited so long for!
Nicole and her bridesmaids and Man Of Honor got ready at her parents house in Sullivan, Ohio! It was conveniently located just a mile from the home she shares with Joe! When I arrived everyone was bustling about with excitement waiting for Nicole to return from the salon. Just a short time after my arrival she made her appearance with a stunning braid and curls hairstyle! She and the girls headed upstairs while I began styling her wedding details.
Their gorgeous, rustic sunflower and roses theme created a beautiful set up to photograph her silver jewelry and white Sperry’s! But can we talk about her breathtaking gown? It was flowing with layers of tulle. It looked like something out of a princess movie!
After photographing her details I departed for their venue, The Ashland Golf Club. I arrived just as Joe’s Aunt was putting the final details on the ceremony space. Also taking shape was the ceremony site being decked with stunning florals designed by one of our dear friends Sarah from The Cutting Garden. I cannot believe how full and beautiful her arbor pieces were! They definitely wowed and had guests talking all night about them!
Nicole arrived shortly after I did and headed straight into hiding where she could put on some final touches and eventually her beautiful dress. Once in hiding Joe and his groomsmen arrived. Relaxed and ready to enjoy their day, I took the time to snag some photos of Joe getting ready and some great portraits of him and his guys!
With just a few moments to spare, I was able to sneak Nicole out for a super sweet first look with her dad. I don’t know who cried more, her or him. You can tell they share such a special bond. It was so emotional and a memory I know she will never forget.
Before too long it was time for the big moment! Guests began taking their seats and Joe made his way to the beautiful arbor they had built just for this moment! The music began and parents and the bridal party made their way down the aisle. Joe had turned his back so he was not able to see Nicole until the officiant had let him know she was starting down the aisle. His reaction was priceless!
Their ceremony was sweet and simple. They lit a unity candle and exchanged rings. There were quite a few laughs shared among them and their guests. Watching the joy shared between these two as they were pronounced husband and wife and shared their first kiss was priceless!
The rest of the day was filled with smiles, tears and laughs as they shared dances, cut cut cake and listened to their bridal party’s speeches. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic, they were not able to have an open dance floor. But that didn’t stop their guests from having so much fun!
It was fate that these two found one another. Their personalities compliment each other perfectly. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for their long lives and marriage together! Whatever life throws at them, I know they will face hand in hand.
It was such an honor to witness their marriage and be such a special part of their wedding day!
