There is nothing I love more than incorporating thing that are special into engagement sessions with my couples. When Lauren mentioned she and Grant were considering a Lakeside Engagement Session in Youngstown Ohio with their boat I was HERE FOR IT! I couldn’t thing of anything more perfect for two people who spend their weekends boating and camping than heading out to the water and capturing them in their element.
We started our session at the iconic Cinderella Bridge in Youngstown Ohio for their more casual outfit. The weather was perfect and it was a great place to start to shake out those in-front of camera nerves! We then headed to Lake Milton where Grant’s parents dock their boat. Lauren and Grant brought their new boat and we headed out to the water. I hoped on his parent’s boat to capture these epic photos of the two of them doing what they love!
Lauren and Grant are two of the sweetest people, and I am so glad tinder brought them together! I love that their first date was spent at the range followed by a dinner they never wanted to end. They stayed talking so long that they were asked to give up their table so others could have dinner too. Its those types of dates that lead to love like theirs.
Their proposal was equally as adorable, and one they will never forget. While on vacation with Lauren’s family, they decided to all get family photos. They had all been acting strange all day, but Lauren brushed it off. She finally caught on when her mom insisted she and Grant go first for pictures and everyone pulled out their cell phones. Between the tears and the joy, what Grant said was a blur, but clearly she said YES!
These two are dog loving, hard working, down to earth and sweet as pie. I couldn’t be more excited to get to spend their big day with them next September. It’s going to be amazing!
