Historic Downtown Millersburg Couples Session | Rachelle and Jake

The charm of Historic Downtown Millersburg, Ohio created the perfect atmosphere for Rachelle and Jake to celebrate 6 years of marriage with a couples’ session. I had spotted the beautiful town hall building while on a date with my husband during the colder months. The charm of the old brick building caught my eye and I instantly knew it would be the perfect place for a romantic session.

Immediately, I went home and created an ad seeking a couple to be photographed in front of the amazing building in Millersburg. I had envisioned a flowing gown, lots of twirling and sweet kisses, and their session was all of that and so much more. It truly was a dream come true.

Rachelle picked out the perfect blush dress and paired it seamlessly with a white button up and blue jeans for Jake. It was formal but casual at the same time. Simple yet classy looks are my favorite. It truly allows my couples’ personalities to shine through.

We had originally planned this session for late April, just as the weather was warming up but ultimately had to postpone due to Covid-19. Secretly, I am glad we did. Though temperature was toasty and we were all sweating, you would never know it. These two were focused on each other and not on the heat.

Millersburg truly offered so many picturesque options and an incredible sunset. The quaint shops and rolling hills provided stunning elements that added so much to their photos. They were just the right amount of interest without taking away from the love Rachelle and Jake share.

Rachelle and Jake’s sunset session in Historic Downtown Millersburg was definitely one I will remember. The dreamy sunset, their sweet love and the beautiful setting truly made it amazing. These two definitely have a love that withstand the tests of time. I am so thankful that I got to document this special part of their life.

Below are just a few of my favorites.
