Valerie and Josh’s engagement session at Sarah’s Vineyard in Cuyahoga Falls may possibly go down in the books as one of my favorite sessions ever! Their outfits were everything my Outfit Guide recommends and it was PERFECTION! Pair that with how loving and sweet they were and it was *chef’s kiss*.
These two cuties actually attended the same high school but never crossed paths until they happened to work together at the same restaurant. Their manager thought they would be a perfect match and set them up on a date. Thank goodness because these two were made for one another! When it came time for Josh to propose he told Val to get dressed up because they were meeting his parents for dinner, but had to stop at their house first. When they got there, Josh’s mom wanted to show her the yard they had redone and the baby bunnies that were nestled under their bush. Val peeked under the bush but didn’t see any bunnies. When she turned around Josh was on one knee asking her to marry him. SHE SAID YES!!!!
I was so excited to plan this session with them when I saw on their Engagement Questionnaire that they wanted to bring their adorable pup Lacey. If you know me, I love dogs! They wanted a romantic winery feel for part of their session and Sarah’s Vineyard was the perfect place. It was full of glowy light and had the prettiest garden on site. After we wrapped up at the Vineyard we headed to a nearby park to meet Val’s mom with Lacey. The sunset light at this park overlooking rolling hills was EVERYTHING. Their session was so much fun. I can’t wait until their big day next June!
