If you’re looking for a cute spot full of charm, history, character and beautiful blooming trees, then a spring engagement session in German Village in Columbus, Ohio just might be perfect for you. It certainly was for Maria, Mauro and their two sweet pups! This was somewhere I had not gotten to explore and thanks to these two I can’t wait to go back!
You’ll quickly be able to tell by just a quick glance at their photos, but Maria and Mauro are two of the sweetest, and most laid back people who just want to eat good food and hang out with their dogs…. I’m pretty sure thats why it was an instant connection between us. Their engagement session in German Village was full of laughter, good conversation and tons of sweet kisses.
We started their engagement session at a quaint little dog park just a couple blocks from their adorable home. It’s safe to say that Blue and Zeal stole the show during the first part of their session. They were so full of energy and just excited to be out with their humans! I can’t wait to see them trot down the aisle at Maria and Mauro’s wedding this fall.
After plenty of cute pictures with the sweet pups, and dropping them back off at home, we wondered around the area surrounding their house. We stumbled on an adorable brick house with the prettiest red tulips. Its not often that photos right at the beginning of an engagement session are my absolute favorite, but the glow mixed with these two being naturals in front of the camera made them a contender for my absolute favorites!
We had gotten some amazing photos just within a few blocks of their house! Feeling great so far, we headed back for an outfit change and over to Schiller Park. Full of blooming trees, pretty flowers and a cute bridge over the park’s pond, we had no shortage of spots for some dressier photos! We even got a little sunset glow, and it did not disappoint.
I had so much fun with Maria and Mauro for their spring engagement session in German Village, Columbus, Ohio. I cannot wait to celebrate these two, and watch them become husband and wife this October. Judging by the way these two look at each other, especially how Mauro gazes at Maria, I will for sure be bringing myself some tissues to their wedding. Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session!
