What better way to start the day than a Cuyahoga Valley National Park Sunrise Engagement Session? Abby and Gabe braved the brisk morning to meet me at a quaint part of the park before the light of day began to touch the sky. Sunrise sessions aren’t something I do often, but after their’s… I sure can’t wait for the next one!
Abby and Gabe’s families have been friends since they met at church in 1997. After some time their families moved to different states and lost touch. Fate brought them back together for the first time at the 25th wedding anniversary Abby planned for her parents, but life again took them in different directions. They both attended college in Michigan, but almost 8 hours apart. One weekend they happen to both be visiting friends at Michigan Tech and decided to meet up, and have been inseparable ever since!
I couldn’t think of a more perfect engagement session for these two. They enjoy hiking and being in nature. Some of their favorite dates are the ones they have spent exploring outdoors. So Cuyahoga Valley Nation Park was the ideal spot.
Coffee in hand I headed to our designated meeting spot, and in true Ohio fashion, the air was filled with an unexpected and dense fog. I am so glad we didn’t let that stop us though! It added a unique element to their early morning session. Everything about their photos was sweet, simple and romantic…. just like Abby and Gabe.
