Has it really been over two years since I met Jenna for this first time for coffee to talk about her blush and misty blue Ashland Ohio wedding? It still feels like yesterday that she told me about Holt and how she couldn’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together. Listening to her talk, I knew it would be special.
Originally planned for June of 2020, Jenna and Holt decided to postpone their wedding due to a scheduling conflict that would have prevented so many of their family members from attending. It was like their reschedule was meant to be, because weeks later the world was turned upside-down when the pandemic caused so many other couples to pivot and change plans. As time went on their venue changed, their guest list changed and their day became more intimate. One thing I am sure didn’t change though, was the love they shared.
When their special day finally arrived I woke up to rain and gloom, but as the day went on it turned into the most beautiful day I ever could have imagined for them. Seriously their portraits on the campus at Ashland University are EVERYTHING! I’m obsessed with the photos of Jenna’s downright dreamy bouquet.
The quaint chapel on the campus was perfect for their sweet ceremony. Officiated by family friend’s in front of the wooden crossed adorned with the most beautiful floral swag. My heart always melts when the bridemaids (and sometimes the groomsmen too) shed tears of joy watching two people so in love vow their lives to one another and wear beaming smiles as a couple is announced officially married.
Jenna and Holt’s blush and misty blue Ashland Ohio wedding was full of so many emotions, a lot of laughs and tons of love. I still can’t believe they are finally husband and wife. Their lives are going to be incredible together. It was so hard to choose but here are a few of my favorites from their big day:
