Anyone else here for the engagement sessions that involve dogs? No, just me?!? I was literally jumping for joy when Holly asked if their dog, Brooks and her dog Cooper could join their spring Engagement Session in Wellington, Ohio. All she wanted was one good photo with them, and they sure did not disappoint!
After what seems like an eternity of rain this spring, the weather somehow cleared long enough for a perfect engagement session for Holly and Eli. They share a house together in Wellington, so it only made sense to use the quaint town for their session! These two are seriously perfect together, I knew it the night I met Holly for the first time to talk all things wedding.
You know that a couple is meant to be when one of them tells their mom they have found their future spouse immediately after meeting them. My heart was in a literal puddle as Holly was telling me their love story. You never think when you meet someone at a party that you will spend the rest of your lives together, but I am so glad Holly and Eli did.
Everything about them is cute. Including their engagement. They had plans to visit a winery one evening and the weather decided otherwise. Quick on his feet, Eli put together a romantic proposal in their garage, lit by candles with their sweet pup Brooks. But Holly, sulking over their ruined winery plans, left Eli waiting in the garage for a long time. Long enough that when she finally went out to check on him, she found him on one knee and laughed because she left him waiting for what felt like forever…. but she said YES of course.
Their engagement session was so much fun and I know their big day is going to be even better. I can’t wait to celebrate with you both this November as you start the next big chapter of your lives. Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from their spring engagement session in Wellington, Ohio.
